139 ONLINE is a site specific event that will be streamed live between the YMCA carpark on Greys Avenue and ST PAUL St Gallery. This event is part of Dieneke Jansen’s exhibition Dwelling on the Stoep. For Dwelling on the Stoep Jansen focused on three distinct housing complexes – Marunda, Jakarta (opened 2009); Bijlmermeer, Amsterdam (opened 1968); and Greys Avenue, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland (opened 1947/1958).
139 Online is developed and hosted in collaboration with Radio NFA (No Fixed Abode) – a community orientated radio station run by people who are currently homeless or have previously experienced homelessness. The purpose of 139 Online is to connect with local residents and understand how they dwell within the social housing architecture of 139 Greys Avenue.
Come to ST PAUL St Gallery between 12–4pm to join the conversation via the live feed from Greys Avenue, or join Radio NFA and the tenants of 139 Greys Avenue.
